Hey, it’s that guy with the purple kimono!

So, like, my weekend was great, the nation’s weekend was awful. I want to talk about how my E3 hype, but my enthusiasm to write my thoughts has been dampened. I’m sure next week I’ll be ready to share my thoughts on the gaming news of the week!

      It’s because he wanted to hold his longbow all sideways cool style. Totally not how you hold a Japanese longbow! (I’m kinda waiting to get called out on it) (On second thought, that string should probably be above the arm…)

        The string can’t be above the arm unless he drew the arrow from the left side of his left arm using his right hand (from the far side rather than the near side), which would be insanely awkward. So the the string, normally drawn to the chest, would end up in his armpit at the angle.

        Judging by the way he holds the bow, the string is not pulled fully, which would suggest the arrow is quite short too.

        … it’s all to confuse enemies, because Genchu could easily deflect a normal arrow with his swords, but he couldn’t have trained to deflect such awkwardly shot arrows!

          it’s the worst shot arrow that gets you the best… not the target, mind you.
