I wonder if they’ll still be around during that inevitable moment when Ina tells her father the full story… you know, starting from where they tried to mug her, which resulted in her and her (ahem) protector falling off a waterfall….
I should probably address this. I’m working on a bunch of commission work that will very likely turn into a new full time job, so it’s digging into the comic time. Might be a few more months before the double updates return.
the pinky is an acceptable finger to use when making an “I’m watching you” hand motion. It’s also cooler looking. And I stole it from the first episode of Legend of Korra.
Oh, and here I thought that it was like Inglorious Bastards where the british infiltrate orders drinks without using the thumb, or when Uso called Yorikiro by his name instead of Yori, leading to the reveal that Ina was actually the head ninja clan head disguised.
So wait, did those two actually betray the group or what? I get that they are stupid, but did they really think that they beat up Cho and Yori who they have seen be super badass. Did they expect to live the rest of their lives as ninjas?
I choose to believe that they were never on the ninjas side because it was what I call, “coward clever”.
The truth is that the bandits exist to make me laugh. If they’re not doing that, I kill them off. I HAVE THAT POWER. So laugh with me! Laugh with me if you want them to live!!
I never had that power. Alex refuses to draw any of the death scenes I write. The doppelgänger cast was supposed to kill off the entire main cast in chapter 5 and take over. Hirotomo’s koi were supposed to save him from a disgruntled Atsumori. Did these happen? No!
And now it’s time for this week’s “Hey! I just found out the comic restarted! AWESOME!!!!111eleven!!1” post.
I need to be in bed right now as the alarm’s going off in less than six hours, but I couldn’t resist taking the time to get caught up. You guys haven’t lost a step.
It would seem that by keeping their options open, they are risking painful death at Ina’s hands.
Life is merely a precursor to death, after all.
It takes work to walk the line. One wrong move and it’s naught but a fall-y death.

I sure hope so!
So the comic is continuing to be once per week?

I’m wondering why Ina is using her pinky instead of her medium finger.

It looks like the “Eye Have You” gesture from “Metal Gear Solid 4”. 😀

Clearly, their coward level is over nine thou… *gets slapped upside the back of his head*
=o.<= Mew!
You're right, that joke has been done to death.
The truth is that the bandits exist to make me laugh. If they’re not doing that, I kill them off. I HAVE THAT POWER. So laugh with me! Laugh with me if you want them to live!!
I thought that was Joe’s power. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH JOE?!
I never had that power. Alex refuses to draw any of the death scenes I write. The doppelgänger cast was supposed to kill off the entire main cast in chapter 5 and take over. Hirotomo’s koi were supposed to save him from a disgruntled Atsumori. Did these happen? No!
Why am I thinking about the first episode of Freakzoid all of a sudden?
Oh right, Guitierrez…

Water Tribe!
Lin Bei Fong would be proud. I think Ken’s been teaching Ina scary facials!
Lin is Ina’s idol.
Panel 5 definitely needs a “DOOM” sound effect.
Agreed.
We don’t want to over use it!
How about “Dun-dun” for both of last two panels, with growing intensity?
Her exasperation is reaching critical Captain! I dinnae know If I ken hold her!
If she ever has kids, I don’t think there will be any problems with discipline, she could just get them to behave by staring at them. D:
Mother Ina would be a force of nature.
Yori/Ina children on tumblr maybe??? *puppyeyes*
She will *never* forget, unfortunately for them.
Mashiro: In fact since this wataro marriage thing isn’t working out why don’t you marry Fujio
Would that be worse for Ina or Fujio?
Love will find a way
But a blade will reach the heart faster.
Their marriage would be on the ropes from the start.
Just wait until they tie the knot.

Just… which one she is staring at?
All three of them, I imagine.
That’s also pretty close to how you cast the Evil Eye on someone in Italy . . . so, the Bandit Boys might be cursed now . . .
😅😅
