Don’t feel too bad about that edit. It was not a terribly well drawn butt. I found it more embarrassing than sexy, to be honest! Also, removing it makes the comic a bit more accessible, because, as we all know, western culture is much more tolerant of bloody violence than sexuality!

PANEL RETURN: I really feel like you need this missing panel in there to carry over the reason for Masuhiro’s sudden bashfulness in panel 4. Last we see Suzuka, she’s swimming away, Masuhiro’s face changes to bashful, then it’s two panels of Suzuka just taking her mask and donning it before we get a hint at the possible reason.
You could easily crop the image to match the height of the panels with Masuhiro’s faces and only show from above her buttocks or below. Heck, a shift of that blond hair could cover her but would probably look overly done.
