UPDATE: I said there would not be an update on 3/6, and there was not! But because of several personal events occurring this month (family visiting, and now a vacation that I did not properly plan ahead for, general lack of free time), I’m in a position where I’ve run out of time to properly complete the next page and get it to Cole for coloring! So, re-evaluating my schedule, it’s going to take a lot of stress off my shoulders to push the comic into a three week hiatus. I know that kinda stinks because the story is about to go into wrap-up mode, but we will be back at the end of March, 3/30, and move into the conclusion of NN4B!
——————————————————————————————-
Looks like all the villains have been killed and/or redeemed! I think we’re fresh outta bad guys, everyone.
Just a heads up that there will not be an update next week!

“Lay down your arms! These are not our enemies!”
“Even the fat ninja guy?”
“Especially the fat ninja guy!”
‘But he’s fat! And a ninja! He must be extremely dangerous!’
‘What? Why?’
‘Because he’s a fat ninja *who is still alive*!’
In the end, Nataku was right. Eijro found a problem in his way, eliminated it, and is now the daimyo. Winning!
He thought he didn’t have a shot at it, but he got what he aimed for!
boooooooooooo, okay actually that was pretty good.
Heh. I wonder what happens to Nataku now. The poor sap has no idea.
He’ll be reincarnated as an ant, then Yumiko steps on him.
ETA: Hm. Actually, he can be reincarnated as a millipede instead, so Yumiko and Ken both have room to step on him.
Nuts. I somehow forgot Nataku was already dead. But, as you point out, there’s no reason in this setting that he can’t die twice.
There will not be an update next week because the comic is over! Nothing left to see here!
Heheh poor fool. You thought the wife was bad living?! Wait till you can’t ever escape Anywhere in the afterlife and she’s had This long to stew on matters.
“You put our sons through WHAT?!!”
You chose your avatar for this, admit it
Nope! Ask anyone here and they’ll attest I’ve had this avatar for years. Just got lucky this time.
talk about a hostile takeover
Gee, all out of bad guys? I guess that means a certain sub-plot involving a certain character named after a certain Keanu Reeves movie will go forever unanswered…
Oh, and we no longer have to worry about that prophecy re: The End Of The World. That’s a relief.
😀
In the last panel of the last comic, we see Cho entering a bar where there just happens to be the other two guys in the prophecy.
Perhaps only the end of the world, as they know it.
Matrix led them to this, question is how things will be seen through.
Yeah, my bet is on the webcomic ending.
Easy to promise for Yori. It’s hardly like he could find a way to bring his clan less honour than his dad.
Sez the guy who shot the Daimyo…
Ejiro: Those guys over there are, especially Tanaka he knows what he did.
Tanaka is dead, and was in the Senshin clan. http://nn4b.com/comic/763 Do you mean Nataku?
Nah, as I understand it Tanaka is the John smith of names in Japan
Oh, I see. I thought you were referring to a specific character.
Sometimes I forget that in times past killing your old dad was a legit career move.
So, everyone is okay with that.
Fine.
…
Little did we know: this was just the prologue.
Kinda hoped there was a painting for Hirotomo’s death, just like with the DoS. Not because he was evil, but because he was a significant character.
Chapter one starts in two weeks.
Damn, talk about Famous Last Words… 🙄

Okay, that’s a little bit extreme
And now comes the revelation of a coup against Eijiro because of course nobody’s going to respect the title of Daimyo on someone who shoots their own Dad in the back like a coward.
Let’s face it: Ei-kun will make a much better Daimyo than Yori-kun. No reason that big brother can’t be his Daimyo’s strong right hand, though.
“These are not our enemies, but the angry dude with the giant sword shouting obscenities and killing all of our vassals right outside probably is. Maybe 70/30 odds.”
Not killing, “distracting”. Ken can’t promise they’ll be uninjured – gotta make the threat believable – but killing is probably off the table.
Kadoosh really knows no off-speed. It’s either ‘kadoosh’ and death, or nothing at all.
So!…. Who won the bet? Matrix or Lex?
Matrix was betting on Yori to survive, so I think she wins. 😎
So Hirotomo got killed by his son, who then became the new Daimyo. Keikaku doori!
I have not read this story in YEARS!! And I come back to THIS page!! You know what this means don’t ya’? Deep archive dive.
Welcome back! You’re just in time for the wrap up!
Oh no, hi-8-us! Hi-haters gonna hate XD
…Let’s talk about Alita, I guess?
This cannot be the end..!? what about the matrix guys? that plothole hasn’t been addressed
“And I am right, and you are right, and all is right as right can be… ”

It’s time for the aunty-climax!
