I am PSYCHED. Also, I notice that is Western-style ship. I think it was the Portuguese who the Japanese traded with at this time? I’m guessing them, or pirates.

Where are the two birds? If Age Of Empires III has learned me anything, it’s that Japanese fishermen use two birds to fish. And can totally withstand a Portuguese ship’s bombardment. Totally.
I feel left out, despite my impressive wealth of video game knowledge, I don’t get the two birds reference… never played AoEIII

How long were they gone? I pretty much ditched the site after biweekly posts then break then nothing for possibly a year.
It was a planned year long hiatus, but the site has been updating regularly once a week since then, and we’re hoping to go to twice a week in the not too distant future.
That sounds awesome. I was upset about the hiatus only because I enjoy the comic.
