“The only good blue is a dead blue”
In today’s episode of Red Vs Blue: Caboose over ignores the clear color theme and simply walks into Red Base.
“The bird that can describe the water buffalo will know that what lies before it is not really a water buffalo, for what would a bird know of a water buffalo?”
“Oh hey! Kaito! How’re the wife and kids?”
“Oh! They’re doing good! Hotaru just made her first prayer at the temple just yesterday!”
“Already? Man, they sure grow up fast. Hey, would you mind taking me to my father?”
“Sure! As long as you don’t mind going tied up!”
“Of course! Lead the way!”
“Man, what a swell guy!”
Good move.
He knows his father had ulterior motives to send the DoS after him, although he still risks being executed on the spot. Hopefully he manages to convince both Hirotomo and Eji of how misguided they were all along.
I like how Yori, Ina and Eji are all three working to end further hostilities, but all for very different reasons. When Yori drops the truth bomb to his father, he can only listen or risk ostracizing both of his sons and leave the clan sans heir.
Given this comic, I like to think at least one of them said “Oh, hi, Your Highness!” Probably got an elbow jab in the side for it and he’s just like “What? I was raised with manners!”

By getting yourself brutally killed?
Brilliant. I admit I did not see that coming.
Persuasion without swords is like a day without sunshine.
Aw, Genchu’s sad face when Yori says he won’t get to persuade Hirotomo. Genchu probably could’ve done it barehanded! Or, like, with a naginata.
Also, Yori’s happy reunion with his old pals the Wataro guardsmen <3
This ought to be good. 😜
Ken, Genchu, and Cho are the extraction plan….
Masu is Ina’s extraction plan.
And ofcourse her uncle :p
“Or a Cho”
Well that’s one way to describe him.
The Cho that can be described is not the true Cho.

Hey, that works

“Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation….”

I think I actually understand cho.
Is it bad that what Cho said makes perfect sense to me?
You’re not the only one
I mean, not surprising at all considering this one wasn’t nearly as subtle (or arbitrary — I’m not sure how he settled on the “Choisms” in the past).
