Because characters with impaired vision are SUPER COOL. It’s highly probably a lot of impaired vision fighters pop out an eye just to gain the intimidation factor, why not! When you are going through a forest you should ‘lift’ a branch up rather than ‘push’ it away. Because when it swings back it can jam into the eye of the dude behind you. No really, it has happened before. I wonder if that is what happened to Yumiko here.
