I think that should be, “Whoever is behind this little scheme is *in* way over their heads.” Unless they’re over their own heads. In this comic, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility.
Found this comic after the fact. On one hand the older sister is stressed about what her little brother states and it’s a hard situation to be in, on the other hand lil bro isn’t a dumb oblivious gaming geek and realizing how smart her brother is might indeed need a drink since he’s planned and figured this much out and she never knew.
