Ina turned that one around on Yori, bam! But it makes perfect sense that there would be some skimpy ninja girl outfits lying around the NINJA CHANGING ROOM considering who runs this ninja cabal! Also, I took the reader’s suggestion and pulled out the Google Translate for that first panel. Supposedly it says ‘ninja changing room’, but in actuality it probably says ‘walrus balloon men’ or something of that ilk.

      I would have translated that as “the room is changed by a ninja,” or possibly “The ninja changed/replaced the room.” Agreed that 忍者の更衣室 or even just 更衣室 (changing room) is better.

        You could make a running joke, with writing totally irrelevant things in japanese while the english “subtitle” would stay correct. “Fried chicken legs only 2 yen”, “Female hairdresser”, or “Caution, wet paint” could go well for the great hall of the ninja, or something. 😀
