What was that thing Genchu said about taking 12 well trained guys over an army any day?
Guess we’ll find out if he was right…
Note the operative words, “well-trained”.
Well, he’s got Yori, Cho, and Ken at least . . . so they should be able to handle at least 1/3 of an army!
7. If the food is good enough, the grunts will stop complaining about the incoming fire.

“the inverse ninja law: ‘one ninja is an elite and powerful adversary. Multiple ninjas make a group of faceless incompetent pawns'”
The law applies to samurai as well except that 7 samurai can fight as one. Or one defending each direction and one attacking the army from each flank and behind.
And 7 samurai make an awesome movie!
Considering the quality of feudal armies, a dozen well-trained actual soldiers should do nicely. Now if only we had any of those…
Yori really looks better, not just in art, but in his entire look.
I’m not so sure myself – he’s lost his masculine chin. I found it refreshing to have a hero who combined both boyish youth with a strong chin. And now, alas, it is no more. 😟
